Frequent Urination - Earliest Pregnancy
Symptom
Frequent urination is also one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms.
This sign of pregnancy start at the earliest stages and continue till third semester. Most women notice an
increased urge to pee.
The reason behind this is the increased blood flow towards
uterus and increased fluid intake. With the passage of time the baby grows in size and puts added pressure on
bladder; this leads to pee more often.
One can reduce the intensity of this pregnancy symptom at night
by reducing the water intake few hours before going to bed. Women must also avoid drinking tea, coffee and
other caffeinated drinks. Caffeine serves the purpose of diuretics.
Frequent urination is simply a pregnancy symptom and does not
show that anything is wrong with the baby. However the same symptom can be experienced even if a woman is not
pregnant but has some bladder or urinary tract infection.
As the pregnancy progresses the baby drops in the pelvic area
to prepare for labor. This also causes more pressure on bladder. The pregnant women should slightly lean
forward to empty the bladder completely. It may also cause the pregnant women to leak urine while laughing,
coughing or sneezing. There is nothing wring in it and will be normal after the baby is
born.
